Paul Bostaph

Paul Bostaph was born on the fourth of March in 1964. He became a professional drummer in the age of 20 and since then played with metals biggest acts such as Slayer, Exodus, Forbidden, Systematic and currently Testament.

In his childhood Paul wanted to play bass guitar but finding a cheaper drum kit than a bass got him to playing drums. With 15, after buying a new drum kit and listening to several rock bands and then metal bands, he finally decided to become a metal drummer.

Today he is the drummer of the American metal band Testament. The band was founded in 1983 and is from Berkley, California. They are among the most popular thrash metal bands worldwide and have released nine albums out to date.

Their 10th studio album, “The Dark Roots of Earth” is released 2012 followed by a tour across the world.

Paul Bostaph plays Yamaha drums and has found his sound with the Yamaha Oak Custom kit.
