Marko Dzomba

Biography

Marko Dzomba is an internationally active soloist and chamber musician. He has performed in England, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Serbia, Norway, Romania, the Czech Republic and in concert halls such as the Konzerthaus Vienna, Musikverein Wien, Brucknerhaus Linz, MuTh Wien, Ljubljana Philharmonic, Kulturni Dom Nova Gorica, RNCM Manchester and others.

Some of Marko’s upcoming concerts will also include appearences as a soloist with the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra in the Great Tchaikovsky Hall, with the Webern Chamber Philharmonic in the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, with the Vienna Jeunesse Ochester in the Great Hall of the Vienna Konzerthaus, concerts in the Glass Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, Athenaeum Bucharest etc.

Marko was the winner of international and national competitions such as the Casinos Austria Rising Star Award, the ADMC Illzach in France, the CRDM in Italy, the Svirel Prize in Slovenia (where he also received two special prizes), the Windisch Chamber Music Competition, Musica Juventutis.

He is a three-time laureate of the Serbian National Competition and has been awarded with the Serbian Culture Prize "Talent of the Year" twice. He was also the winner of the the Tokyo Foundation audition and a scholarship holder of the Thyl-Dürr Foundation and the Josef Windisch Foundation.

Marko Dzomba has appeared on radio and television stations such as ORF, Radio Ö1, Radio Klassik Stephansdom, RTVSLO and Klassikradio Deutschland.

He is currently studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
