Yamaha Artist Mathieu Dufour ist neuer Solo-Flötist der Berliner Philharmoniker
Der Yamaha Artist Mathieu Dufour ist ab September 2014 Solo-Flötist der renommierten Berliner Philharmoniker.
1999 wurde Mathieu Dufour im Alter von 25 Jahren Solo-Flötist des Chicago Symphony Orchestra und somit zu einem der jüngsten Musiker in dieser Position.
Im Mai dieses Jahres gewann Mathieu das Probespiel um die Stelle des Solo-Flötisten der Berliner Philharmoniker. Diese Position ist die Nachfolge von Andreas Blau, der in diesem Jahr in den Ruhestand tritt. Mathieu Dufour stammt aus Paris und ist einer der weltweit bekanntesten Flötisten. Er hat zahlreiche Wettbewerbe gewonnen und ist neben seiner Orchestertätigkeit auch als Kammermusiker und Solist bekannt.
Mit dieser neuen Berufung wird Yamaha jetzt von zwei Flötisten Künstlern in der Berliner Philharmonie vertreten:
