Livia Duleba wins 6th International Flute Competition, Krakow

Livia Duleba, a flutist from Hungary, won the 1st prize at the prestigious 2014 International Flute Competition in Krakow, Poland.
Taking place between the 6th-13th April, Ms. Duleba stood out from some highly talented players to win this high profile competition.
As part of her prize, Ms. Duleba will select for herself, a Yamaha 800 Series Handmade flute and will also take home 35,000 PLN, of which 5,000 PLN, is for the best flute concerto performance. There were also a number of other prizes awarded including a CD recording session which was won by Ms Olga Leonkiewicz from Poland, and all finalists received a Yamaha Hi-Fi.
Overall, this was a very influential event to introduce Yamaha’s range of Handmade and Professional Flutes to some very high level flutists.
