Trombonist Michael Steinkühler is now a Yamaha Artist!
Michael Steinkühler, Principal Trombonist NDR Radio Philharmonic Orchestra Hannover, is a Yamaha Artist.
We are very happy to welcome Michael Steinkühler into the Yamaha Artist Family! Principal Trombonist of the NDR Radio Philharmonic Orchestra Hannover, Michael Steinkühler, has a long experience including the Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie Koblenz, Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra and Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra.
He is one of the most sought-after orchestra trombonists in Germany. Playing as regular guest in various prestigious orchestras, e.g. the Bavarian State Orchestra Munich, the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, Staatskapelle Dresden, the Staatskapelle Berlin.
Michael Steinkühler performs regularly as a soloist, devoting himself intensively to chamber music and historical performance practice. He played as a guest in the Ensemble German Brass, the Ludwig Güttler Brass Ensemble and regularly participates in the Balthasar Neumann Ensemble.
Michael Steinkühler is also a very committed professor, he has been teaching at the State University of Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim since 2008 and teaches at the Danish-German Brass Academy and regularly gives masterclasses.
