One of the most active session musicians of today in Greece, with countless live performances, and recordings.
ANDY MCKEE'S ACOUSTIC GUITAR PLAYING IS something to behold. Fretting notes with both hands from both sides of the neck, conjuring harp-like arpeggios and glistening harmonics, and rapping the body with his palms and fingertips, he makes you swear you're hearing two or three guitarists at once. You have to see it to believe it.
Lee Sklar has been a prominent figure among Hollywood session bassists dating back to the 1970's and ever since. Sklar (born Leland Bruce Sklar, May 28, 1947) has more than 2000 albums to his credit (and still counting), and is considered to be one of the "A" players in the highly selective L.A. rock music community where the competition for recording dates is fierce and where only the strongest will survive.
Born in 1959 in Brooklyn, New York, John Patitucci began playing the electric bass at the age of ten. Versatile musician, guitarist, vocalist, composer, producer and arranger Steve Lukather was born in Los Angeles on October 21 in 1957. Before his father bought him a guitar and a copy of Meet the Beatles at the age of seven, Luke started to play drums and keyboards. "I love keyboards, I write all my songs on keyboards except for the real obvious 'burn' tunes. I find it much easier, you have all these great synth sounds and you play a C chord and it's sounds like God, and you start thinking melodies as opposed to chops."(Lukather, 1986).
In 2002, Jeff Rouse was added to the new lineup of Loaded, the group formed by former Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan, touring in support of debut album Dark Days. During one of the shows, in Los Angeles, Loaded were joined onstage by The Cult duo Billy Duffy and Matt Sorum, also formerly of Guns N' Roses. After the tour of Japan, Rouse left Loaded to rejoin Alien Crime Syndicate along with Mike Squires. Following the formation of Velvet Revolver, Loaded went on a semi-hiatus with the band playing a few shows each year with both Rouse and Squires returning to the group.
