Born in Boston, Massachusetts, 1953. Mike Stern is one of the leading guitarists on the contemporary jazz scene. Began playing at age 12, putting down Clapton and Hendrix licks, but switches to jazz at Berklee College of Music in 1971. Plays for two years each with Blood, Sweat & Tears and Billy Cobham's Powerhouse Fusion Band, later joining the Miles Davis Group. From there his popularity soars, and he joins up with countless world-class musicians like Joe Henderson, Jaco Pastorius, Jim Hall, Pat Martino, Tom Harrell, Arturo Sandoval, Billy Cobham, David Sanborn, and the Breckers. Solo debut in 1986 with the release of Upside Downside. Named "Best Jazz Guitarist of the Year" by Guitar Player magazine in 1993, then gets Grammy nominations in 1994 and 1996. Fans love Mike Stern for a playing style displaying a variety of tones, from sensitive to hard-edged and wild.

The members of the Used had to overcome poverty, homelessness, and substance abuse, not to mention the straitlaced attitudes of their hometown of Orem, UT, to bring their screamo-tinged brand of post-hardcore to life. But they persevered and earned a contract with Reprise Records, releasing their self-titled debut album in June 2002. Having only played a handful of shows around Orem prior to their record's release, the band -- vocalist Bert McCracken, guitarist Quinn Allman, bassist Jeph Howard, and drummer Branden Steineckert -- began relentless nationwide touring that quickly saw their fan base multiply. Club dates soon turned into successful stints on larger-scale festival/package tours including the Warped Tour, Ozzfest, and Projekt Revolution alongside Linkin Park and Snoop Dogg
Starting at the age of 16, Lee played his first session with The Mama's and the Papa's. Two years later he was backing Tony Bennett and Lena Horne at L.A.'s Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Known as "Captain Fingers," Ritenour became a sought-after session player in the mid-70's. Starting in 1976, at the age of 24, he began his own solo career which now includes over 30 albums and collaborations. Although heavily influenced in his early days by the relaxed styles of Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass and Barney Kessel, he now has his own distinctive sound and fluid style. His list of session work is awesome (some 3,000 sessions), but some of his notable performances were with Herbie Hancock, Steely Dan, Dizzy Gillespie, Sonny Rollins and Pink Floyd. Since the mid-80's Ritenour has been strongly influenced by Brazilian music.
